Discovery Ignite
Discovery Ignite is a funding initiative established to collaborate with filmmakers in Australia and New Zealand to co-produce original local content with global appeal.
Discovery Ignite gives independent filmmakers in Australia and New Zealand the opportunity to pitch documentaries to Discovery Networks, for local co-productions. The initiative also allows Discovery Networks to showcase the work of local documentary filmmakers on the international scene with its worldwide audience.
Producers can submit program ideas that sit within our 2013 content categories. Successful candidates will then be invited to pitch in person. Producers that have been invited to pitch should note supporting visual materials will be required for this stage of the process.
