Discovery Ignite - Submission Details
Submission deadline
We are accepting program proposals for the 2012 Discovery Ignite funding initiative from the categories listed, the deadline to submit program proposals to our Sydney office is 31st January 2012.
Producers will be informed by 14th February 2012 if their proposal has been shortlisted and will be invited to pitch.
Producers invited will be encouraged to present supporting visual material as part of their pitch.
Final projects selected for development will be expected to secure co-finance before the project can be green-lit.
Terms and Conditions
1. The Discovery Ignite Fund is open to Australian and New Zealand based production companies and individuals only.
2. A production company can submit more than one proposal across all categories.
3. An approximate budget total should be included in the proposal.
4. Every producer must sign the attached submissions release form and send it along with each proposal.
5. Submissions must include TWO SEPARATE COPIES of the following:
i. Program proposal
ii. Synopsis
iii. Production personnel overview and contact details
iv. Producer showreel
These submissions must be placed in two envelopes. One marked Sydney and the other marked Singapore.
(Please note materials won't be returned.)
6. Only hard copy submissions will be accepted and both should be sent to the attention of:

8) Applications should reach the offices of Discovery Networks Australia by 31st January 2012. Applications arriving after that time will not be considered.
