NAKED AND AFRAID XL
Tuesdays from 19 September at 8:30pm AEST/NZ
The most formidable group survival challenge on the planet returns, as nine Naked and Afraid veterans attempt to survive in the deadly jungles of Ecuador’s Amazon Basin with no food, no water, and no clothes for 40 days and 40 nights. It’s a survival challenge unlike any other, and to make it out alive, they’ll have to master their environment and push the limits of human endurance.
Dropped in groups of three deep inside the water-soaked rain forest, it’s a harsh introduction to the dangers of the swampy landscape. Will these nine men and women support one another or tear each other apart?
The all-female team struggles for days to get fire in the damp environment and gets ravaged by bugs as a result. The bravado of the all-male team is shattered by a devastating injury on Day One leaving two teammates alone to face something prowling near their camp at night. And lack of food and stamina forces a member of the final team to call it quits.
In a challenge this big, they will need to push themselves far beyond their breaking point and then some. Who will be left standing at the end?
