The Papua New Guinean black bass is a formidable and elusive predator. With a huge paddle tail and aggressive mannerisms, the species is highly coveted by anglers around the globe.

Found only in the remote jungle rivers of Papua New Guinea, the first challenge is reaching the rivers the black bass calls home. Fishing expert Andrew ‘ET’ Ettingshausen is on a mission to track down one of these elusive marauders, which leads him on a jungle safari to the untouched rivers of PNG’s wild province of West New Britain.

Once there, the second challenge for ET will be to stop these jungle brawlers before they break the line. The largest black bass ever caught was 19.2 kilograms or more than forty-two pounds.

Can ET track down a Black Bass, or will this mighty fish elude him?
